Batey Relief Alliance: Working with Others to Save Lives
Over the last ten years, I've had the opportunity to technologically volunteer for the Batey Relief Alliance, an international humanitarian medical relief group based in New York and operating in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. During the Haitian Earthquake of 2010, the organization mobilized a variety of international medical and humanitarian aid for Haiti. The three videos below chronicle the devastation and global humanitarian/medical efforts to help the country. The first shorter video was the one the organization eventually went with as the final. I've put up here a couple of the earlier longer versions that include both more structural images of the devastation and the organization's partnerships with other international organizations in providing humanitarian and medical relief during the crisis
